About Marin

Marin Campbell, PT, DPT, is a licensed Natural Medicine Facilitator under Colorado’s regulatory framework and a holistic physical therapist, based in Denver. Through somatically-oriented psychedelic-assisted care, she supports clients to safely explore expanded states as a catalyst for body-based healing. Marin's work is shaped by her own recovery from chronic pain and autoimmune symptoms, giving her a personal understanding of the challenges her clients face. She often collaborates with neuroscience and mental health professionals to integrate creative treatment approaches at the intersections of movement, touch, pain, physical rehabilitation, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Marin also runs a holistic physical therapy practice, Thrive Physical Therapy and Myofascial Release, where she helps adults with chronic pain and other persistent symptoms restore movement and resilience. At Thrive, she blends physical therapy, myofascial release, yoga, breathwork, and somatic practices with a collaborative approach.

Beyond clinical practice, Marin founded the Denver Holistic Health Collective in 2021, a network designed to support practitioners, foster collaboration, and expand access to integrative healthcare. She's passionate about creating safe and empowering spaces that help people reconnect with themselves and their capacity for change. Outside of work, you’ll usually find Marin mountain biking, backpacking, practicing yoga, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Why Coherence Health?

A note from Marin:

I wanted a business name that represented the ideas I had for combining elements of somatics, neurology, physical rehabilitation, bodywork, and psychedelic-assisted care to create lasting change for people dealing with long term symptoms. I chose coherence after reading these definitions:

  1. consistency

  2. integration of diverse elements

  3. union of parts of the same body

Consistency is integral to lasting change; to create habits, change neurological patterns, and shift behaviors, we must consistently show up in service of our intentions, our goals, our selves.

Integration of diverse elements: integration is an essential part of psychedelic-assisted care. For those seeking a perspective shift, support in healing chronic pain or psychological conditions, or personal or spiritual growth, the benefits of natural medicine work are amplified when we engage in intentional work after a journey. Integration is the process of making sense of what happened and weaving the lessons into daily life. It involves bringing insights, discoveries, emotions, and sensory impressions from the journey into real-world contexts and is especially important when experiences are intense, challenging, or bring new perspectives that can feel destabilizing.

Union of parts of the same body: this is the very heart of a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. Whether we are suffering from physical pain, mental distress, difficulty with movement, or neurological symptoms, we are dealing with some version of mind, body, spirit, heart, or social disconnection. To create sustainable transformation in chronic pain, for example, we must invite awareness back into our body and rebuild trust with our physical self after perhaps many years of illness or injury. And to do that, we have to include our various parts in the healing process instead of trying to treat one body part at a time.
